Joensuun matkailuoppaat knows the town of Joensuu and its stories, history, and people. Did you know that Joensuu in North Karelia was a center of international trade in Finland in the 19th century? Trade made the small town grow into a lively and modern town of culture and education. We have a wide range of stories to tell and places to introduce.

We always plan our guided tours, the route and the stories, according to your wishes. Our tour languages are Finnish, English, Swedish, Spanish, Russian, and Japanese. We are local guides in Joensuu, authorized by the Federation of Finnish Tourist Guide Associations, a member of IGC.

Joensuu Tourist Guides are proud and glad to welcome you to cheerful eastern Finland!

We have started to develop the English homepage. Welcome!

We organize guided tours around the year. Below are the guided tours that do not need reservation in advance.
